Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed had sold over 2.5 million
copies, a lot more than the company anticipated. As a result, Ubisoft
is raising its income expectations for this fiscal year by 12%, or 15
million Euros.
Ubisoft also let slip that three of their upcoming titles have been
pushed back to their fiscal 2008-2009 year which starts April 1st of
next year. The three games getting the delay are Far Cry 2, Tom Clancy’s EndWar, and Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway.
If you’ve been keeping track, this is the second time Brothers in
Arms: Hell’s Highway will be getting a delay, the first when Ubisoft
announced that it would be pushed from the end of 2007 to the beginning
of 2008.
